Inkjet Coding Systems
What are Coding Systems?
Inkjet coding is the process of marking and coding manufactured products. Examples include marking production dates (PRD), expiry dates (EXP), best-before dates (BBD), serial numbers, batch numbers, lot numbers, logos, barcodes, and QR codes using non-contact ink spraying from a distance.Inkjet Coding systems should not be limited to just food products. Inkjet coding systems are also used in plastic pipe and PVC production, the construction sector, the pharmaceutical industry, electronic products, and mask production facilities.
Coding SystemsTypes of Inkjet Coding Systems
There are 4 main types of Inkjet Coding, each with its own unique features:- Small Character Coding (CIJ)
- Thermal Inkjet Coding (TIJ)
- Large Character Coding (DOD)
- High Resolution Coding (HR)
Are Inks Used in Inkjet Coding Systems Harmful to Health?
Inkjet Coding systems closely follow technological developments, and the system structure is constantly evolving into smart coding systems. It has been proven that the inks used in Inkjet coding systems do not harm the products and do not negatively affect human health. Food-grade inks are used for consumable products; for example, the Inkjet coding process on eggs does not penetrate the product and carries a food-safe certificate. Inkjet Coding systems do not come into direct contact with the product; they perform the process using a remote spraying method.Coding SystemsFor more detailed information about coding systems, you can contact us or examine our products.Coding and Marking Solutions
